Cole will only be 11 months old for a few more days,
so I need to hurry & get this posted!
He is at such a fun age & he makes us laugh so much!
Here are a few updates:
He's been walking for a few weeks now.
It's so fun to watch him! He still wobbles a bit

and he has to keep his arms up in the air to
balance...and he likes to have something to carry
Some of his favorite things include:
playing with the wheels on his stroller
~
walking all over the place
~
reading books (he loves to turn the pages)
~
making messes with his food
~
crawling in & out of the laundry basket
~
turning light switches on & off
~
wrestling with his dad
~
kicking a ball around the living room
~
he says "mamama" (and usually knows that's me)
~
he has also started saying "no-no-no-no"
which he learned from his cousin, Ella
[so funny to see her telling him "NO!"]
[so funny to see her telling him "NO!"]
~
he's drinking regular milk now & really likes it! hooray!
~
His other favorite foods are yogurt, string cheese,
sweet potatoes, marshmallows & any dessert or
carbonated beverage he can beg from us!
We went sledding back in January while
my brother Chris & sis-in-law Robyn were
here & it was so fun! Cole was expressionless
pretty much the whole time, but I think he
enjoyed himself. By the end he was exhausted,
enjoyed himself. By the end he was exhausted,
so we laid him in the sled & as soon as we did,
he closed his eyes. We took turns pulling him around
in the sled & he didn't move at all. He just laid
there with his eyes closed. But, if we stopped
there with his eyes closed. But, if we stopped
the sled, he'd start whining. It was so funny!

We love our little Cole Buddy so much and can't believe
he'll be ONE on Saturday!

Kath- That picture of him on the sled reminds me of "A Christmas Story" when the boy gets bundled by his mom and can't put his arms down. Cracks me up!
I can't believe how beautiful he is, I loved getting to know him a little better at dinner a few weeks ago. Is he sleeping any better? I hope so.
Good luck with the big ONE YEAR birthday, it has got to be surreal to have him grow up so fast!!
it's so weird that they are almost one! i'm dying laughing about the sledding though--it's so funny that he'd keep his eyes shut as long as he was being pulled. time for us to get together again!
Oh hi! Dave Jr. I can't believe how quickly they change. He's still the cutest little "one!?" year old ever. I love the sled story. Happy Birthday Cole-buddy!
Cole is so cute. It is hard to believe he is already a year old. What a little trooper to go out in the snow and just sleep. Happy Birthday this week Cole!
He's grown up so much! I'm so glad you're having so much fun with him. He's luck to have such great parents!
